What you need

The pinned freeciv/freeciv-web snapshot is a general upstream source reference, not the tested server build. The server links Lexxie9952/fcw.org-server/dev; exact deployed fork commit, matching C-server revision, dependency hashes and asset provenance remain unresolved. Neither complete verified source-to-build correspondence nor a local remix build is claimed.

  1. External play was tested without an account; same-browser guest save/restore worked despite account warnings. Cross-device and long-term guest recovery remain unverified. The tested server closes sessions after 40 minutes of inactivity.
  2. A remix requires a reviewed native C game server, Python WebSocket proxy/process launcher and Java web application; it is not a standalone static HTML upload.
  3. Choose an exact source baseline and separately pin C-server/dependencies/assets. Do not assume latest dev or the catalogue upstream pin equals the live server.
